Shawn Balint is a 30 year veteran of the “radio wars” and has proven to be a versatile performer mixing authoritative news with storytelling, play by play, and covering big stories. 

During his time at KTRS, he was the voice of celebration when he got early word of the Missouri Miracle as two youngsters were rescued from the clutches of Michael Devlin and he was a calming voice during devastating tornadoes as well as a voice that warned residents in the path of the storm. When the Kirkwood City Hall Shootings led to a long night of discussing the shooter and who he was,  Balint focused on the public servants lost and the fallen heroes who prevented that night from becoming even more tragic.  He also served as pre-game and post-game host for  the Rams (I know four letter word) Radio Network in the Greatest Show on Turf days.  Small, medium or big market and backdrops of farm fields or skyscrapers, Balint is a man for all seasons.
